Moe Espinoza has been forging his own path as a techno visionary since he first bursted onto the scene back in 2004 on his own Droid Recordings label. More than 10 years later, Drumcell is a name synonymous with unfiltered, future-minded electronic music. As well as his impeccable body of work on Droid and Droid Behaviour, Espinoza released the acclaimed Sleep Complex album on CLR, and more recently he’s appeared on Rødhad’s Dystopian label, Blank Code and Bl_k Noise.

The Drumcell sound is rooted in late night, hypnotic techno with the power and presence to fill a mammoth space. It’s immersive, minimalist fare with a tendency towards snaking polyrhythmic interplay and icy textures, as cerebral as it is physical. As well as his immersive productions, Espinoza’s focused style bleeds into his DJ sets too. A regular fixture across his native USA, and equally often found doing his thing in Europe, barely a week passes without the Drumcell sound pounding out in a darkened space somewhere. He’ll be joined by O-ma, an electronic music maverick whose recent audio visual set will also illustrate the depths of hypermodern techno. Come and immerse your body and mind into it.
