The master of house and techno weaves a variety of musical styles into a creative frenzy

One of the most influential figures in modern dance music, Radio Slave will make a return to Tokyo.

Matt Edwards has demonstrated his knack for a variety of musical styles under several monikers. He takes influences from funk and disco for Rekid while Quiet Village is a sample-driven psychedelic project with Joel Martin. However, he is most associated with his Radio Slave alias, under which he has made a re-edit of Kylie Minogue and a mash-up of New Order as well as numerous remixes for a wide range of artists be it major or underground. His original productions have appeared on his own Rekids imprint, Ostgut Ton, R&S, Nonplus, Running Back amongst others, proving himself as a versatile creator with a unique and extensive sound palette.

2017 saw Edwards release Radio Slave’s long-awaited debut album,「Feel The Same」. It was a culmination of his long career as a producer, blending house, techno, breaks, dub, jungle, Balearic and ambient. Following Its amazing feats of artistic integrity, he will bring Tokyo up to date with his latest DJ set. For the past gigs in Japan, Edwards sent the audiences into a creative frenzy, combining engaging groove-driven tracks with fascinating curveballs. It all adds sheer excitement rightly in the year-end holiday season.
